Heart and Vascular Health
According to the American Heart Association, too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is their No. 1 killer. One in three women dies of this largely preventable disease—that’s almost one woman every minute. Cardiovascular disease kills approximately 450,000 women each year.
Kish Hospital’s Cardiology Laboratory is equipped to diagnose heart problems through the use of EKG-monitored stress tests, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine stress tests. Cardiac testing is administered by a board-certified cardiologist and specially trained nurses.Visit our Heart Health page for more information about the cardiac services we offer.
Kish Hospital Emergency Department’s physicians and cardiac team understand the differences between women and men when it comes to heart disease and can quickly assess if you’re having a heart attack.
